Aquaforest AF Iron Boost 250ml

Professional easily digestible iron supplement for aquatic plants. Iron is involved in a variety of metabolic processes, and above all plays an important role in the synthesis of chlorophyll - the green dye. The efficiency of photosynthesis depends on its presence. Iron absorption depends on the content of macro and microelements, pH and the form of iron itself. A common problem in aquariums is iron deficiency, because its form is not absorbed by plants. Iron deficiency leads to the disappearance of chlorophyll and, consequently, the development of chlorosis manifested by yellowing and necrosis of the leaves. AF Iron Boost contains a concentrated dose of easily absorbable Fe2 iron chelate for aquarium plants.

How to use:

The optimal concentration of iron in aquarium water should be 0.1-1 mg / l.

With adequate iron levels in the aquarium: 1 ml AF Iron Boost per 100 l of water once a week.

Larger amounts can be dosed to make up for the shortage, and the iron content in the water is regularly checked. Supplementation should be maintained until satisfactory results are obtained. Parallel use with AF Micro and AF Macro products is recommended. Absorbents such as zeolite and / or carbon may reduce the effectiveness of the formulation.
