Microbe-lift Nite-Out II contains living bacterial strains of Nitrosomonas, Nitrospira u. Nitrobacter specially developed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums, which ensure a rapid breakdown of ammonium/ ammonia and nitrite and thus significantly shorten the start-up phase of a newly set up aquarium and/or reduce to almost 0 fish losses during transport and aquarium moves or conversions.
Works immediately and reliably! Stays active to 4°C ! (optimum temperature from 13°C). The selection of bacterial strains makes it also suitable for cold water aquariums (Atlantic, Mediterranean etc.). At 25°C it works much more effectively than the traditional bacterial products of competitors who use conventional warm water bacteria, which achieve their optimum breakdown performance from 38-39°C.
The bacteria, in contrast to products based on spores, work as soon as they are used and do not have to develop first.
Sufficient carbonate hardness (8dH°) in the sea water and (3dH°) in freshwater must be ensured, or else the nitrification process is inhibited.
To do their work, the bacteria consume the carbonate hardness like cars use petrol.
